Possible Supernova PSN J23054871+1419564 in PGC 1455366 Narrowfield IR - Aug 27

Marginal detection. SN indistinguishable from host; but host envelope brighter at discovery location than the DSS2 image.

Lick Observatory Supernova Search (LOSS): 2012.8.21.380; Mag 19.2
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Total exposure 135 min (9 x 15 min, infrared filter > 700 nm; binned 2x2, scale 1.01 asec/px)
Time: 2012.8.27.633
Astrometry: Discovery position marked. SN just seen.
Photometry: Not done. Not sufficiently distinct from nucleus.
These data were collected by Joseph Brimacombe using a 41-cm
RCOS and STL6K camera at Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
