On 5 August 2011 an Ariane 5 launcher will lift off from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana on its mission to place two telecommunications satellites, Astra-1N and BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R, into their planned transfer orbits. Liftoff of the 59th Ariane 5 mission will come at 23:53 CEST (21:53 GMT; 18:53 French Guiana).
