Comet ISON streaking, from Los Angeles 10/16/13

Via Flickr:
Telescope is directed to follow the comet producing trailing stars during the 38 minute exposure time.
Shows tail along the path it's taking, that path is directly toward the sun
.
Currently, it's near Mars, both as seen in sky and actually. On November 28 Comet ISON (C/2012 S1) will pass by the Sun with a perihelion distance of 2.7 solar radii - will it survive?
.
Telescope on CGEM mount was repositioned every five seconds.
