Second version of my best Jupter, so far (see www.flickr.com/photos/gerlos/8221297976). This one is derotated using WinJUPOS, making more rainbo effect around Io and its shadow disappear, and making more details popup.
As before, taken in RGB on November 25 2012 at 21:28 UTC, using a Celestron C8 scope and a TIS DMK21AF04 planetary camera. Used also Astronomik RGB filters and an Antares 3x barlow lens (~7m focal lenght).
Stacked best 600 of 1500 frames/channel. Each channel was 50 s @30 fps, with pauses of 10 s between each.
Processed using Castrator, Autostakkert, and Registax 6 for wavelets and finally using Maxim DL for Richardson-Lucy deconvolution and color recomposition. Derotated using WinJUPOS.
