CSS_J014742.4+253431 is an RR Lyrae pulsating variable of type AB (RRAB) discovered during the course of the Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey SNHunt on Catalina Sky Survey images.
A check at the time determining the nature of this variable showed this to be a previously unknown variable not in VSX or listed as such in VizieR. It was subsequently submitted to VSX.
