Planet Jupiter, Imaged from Hodgson, Manitoba

Via Flickr:
The planet Jupiter has reappeared in the early morning sky and advancing forward as we move into autumn. At the present time, you need to image the planet at around 3-4 am before daylight appears.

The sky however wasn't cooperating well (poor seeing conditions) but I did manage to pull this image off. You can see two moons quite well (Ganymede and Europa). Io has dissapeared in front of the planet so it is lost due to the lack of resolution in the image.

A Point Grey Research camera was used to capture the video. I then processed in Registax and GIMP. Overall it isn't bad but not spectacular.
