Possible Supernova PSN J16125609+3230423 in UGC 10282 Narrowfield L - April 23

Total exposure 45 min (3 x 15 min, luminance filter; binned 2x2, scale 0.91 asec/px)
Marginal detection:
SN indistinguishable from pre-existing bright patch in spiral arm; but bright patch seems brighter and has a slightly different position (1.3 asec south) compared to the DSS2 image.
Time: 2012.4.23.439
Astrometry: Discovery position marked.
Discovery position: RA 16 12 56.09 Dec 32 30 42.3.
Bright patch end figures from DSS2 56.09 / 44.8.
SN+bright patch end figures 56.13 / 43.5.
Photometry: 18.0 +/- 0.4 L (SN+bright patch)
These data were collected remotely using a 51-cm
RCOS and STL11K camera at New Mexico Skies, Mayhill, New
Mexico by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory,
Cairns, Australia.
