UA scientist unravels Neptune mystery

UA scientist unravels Neptune mystery: A University of Arizona scientist recently solved a 165-year-old
mystery. By examining images from the Hubble Space Telescope and
the Voyager 2 spacecraft, Erich Karkoschka, a senior staff
scientist at the UA’s Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, clocked the
length of a day on Neptune at precisely 15 hours, 57 minutes and 59
seconds.
