Russian Mars Probe Crash Sets Off Confusion, Conspiracy Theories | Russia Phobos-Grunt Mission & Mars Missions | Space Conspiracy Theories | Space.com: Russia's Phobos-Grunt spacecraft plunged from space into the Pacific Ocean on Jan. 15, but inconsistent reports sparked different theories about where the probe had landed, and what had caused it to malfunction in the first place.
