NASA Spaceport Breaks Ground for Shuttle Atlantis Display | NASA Space Shuttle Program & Space Shuttle Retirement | Shuttle Museum Displays & NASA Human Spaceflight | Space.com: NASA's Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Cape Canaveral, Fla., broke ground on a new display for the retired space shuttle Atlantis. The Jan. 18, 2012 ceremony sets the stage for the planned 2013 opening of the $100 million Atlantis shuttle display.
