I stayed in The Big Island, Hawaii for a week in August 2011, and this comet was low in the west after sunset in the period. The elevation was 3 degrees at 20:00:00 Hawaii Standard Time on August 30, 2011, and the lava rocks came into the frame. The comet looks small, and the tail was short and beautiful toward west-south-west.
