False color surface map of Asteroid 4 Vesta. This is a combination of several images from the Planetary Photojournal.

The above map is a full frame view of Asteroid 4 Vesta taken by the Dawn spacecraft:

This was coordinated to a section of the partial global map released as PIA14318:
photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/catalog/PIA14318

(The center of the map image is at 90 (E?) and 0 (equator). Green lines show correspondence between key features.

Finally, warping and multiple layer combinations were used to add the false color image PIA14325:
photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/catalog/PIA14325
